Anne Samyn

Anne Samyn has been an Executive Coach with INSEAD since 2005. She is also a Principal with Howell Zest, Ward Howell Group, where she is involved in developing the executive coaching and talent management activities, working directly with all strategic business groups and corporate teams in the different regions.  Furthermore, she provides executive leadership coaching to companies in the role of Change Agent using the "psychodynamic approach". 

Anne’s strength is in the combination of business focus, clinical approach and the experience of what it takes to help organisations and individuals change.  She applies her outcome-oriented coaching approach to team coaching as well as individual coaching situations. Anne has worked with global clients across a variety of sectors, including L’Oreal, HSBC, Johnson & Johnson, Pilkington, Unilever and Gazprom.

Anne has a successful track record with over 20 years experience within the Executive Search Industry. She was a Partner within the Amrop Hever Group, the world largest Executive Search Group. Prior to that, she held similar positions with two of the top 3 global players: Spencer Stuart Management Consultants and Korn Ferry International, the global leading provider of executive human capital solutions where she gained extensive experience in the field of Business, Team and Human development.

Anne is Belgian and holds a Masters degree from IHECS. She has a Masters degree in Human Resources (Vlerick Leuven-Gent Management School) and a Degree in Clinical Organisational Psychology (INSEAD).  She is also certified to use several psychometric tools. She speaks Dutch, French, English and has a working knowledge of German.
