Study finds men outnumber women on TV two-to-one

Vicki Owen writes for the Financial Mail Womens Forum about gender inequality in the media. Men outnumber women on TV by two-to-one and only one in ten women on television are over 40 compared to six out of ten men. Women make up only a third of participants in factual television and only 31 percent in news where 69 per cent of the time they are discussing lighter news topics. Click here to read more.
