Louise Sheppard
Louise Sheppard has been coaching clients for 15 years. She views coaching as a process for providing busy executives with vital space to reflect. Louise supports talented people to reflect upon specific aspects of their work and life, for example, their leadership style, influencing skills, work and non-work needs and career development, in order to be even more successful. Executives have experienced raised increased self confidence, improved relationships with others, greater satisfaction with their work-life balance and being able to coach others.
Louise started her career with Unilever Plc, where she held a variety of management roles. She then joined Coopers & Lybrand as a management consultant advising on people issues. She left to set up her own business focusing upon leadership development and coaching.
Her coaching clients span various sectors including Finance, Law, Professional services, Oil & Gas, Academia, Food & Drink, public and not-for-profit sectors. Louise enjoys working with a mix of male and female clients and is experienced in coaching executives at all levels, including Chairs, Chief Executives and Executive Directors.
Louise has a Masters in Professional Coaching. She carried out research into the issues that senior, professional women bring to coaching and how coaches can best support them. She is currently training to be a coaching supervisor with the Bath Consultancy Group. She has a certificate in Psychodynamic Counselling Skills from the Westminster Pastoral Foundation and is qualified and registered to use Myers Briggs Type Inventory (MBTI), Fundamental Interpersonal Orientation Behaviour (FIRO-B), Strength Deployment Inventory (SDI) and Benchmarks 360 degree feedback process. Her initial degree was in Economics and Politics at Bristol University and she also did a postgraduate diploma in Personnel Management.
Louise is married, has four children and lives in London.
