Thyra de Graaff

Thyra de Graaff is a business partner at Phyleon, Center for Leadership and Change in The Netherlands, working in partnership with Talking Talent. As well as being a certified Psychotherapist, Thyra has masters degrees in Business Administration and Labour and organisational psychology. She also attended the Program in Psychodynamic Organisational Consulting, a two-year training program to bridge the world of psychoanalysis and organisational consulting.

Thyra began her career as an advisor in the fast moving consumer goods sector, serving in an advisory capacity on behalf of buy-out projects, especially for Unilever. She then worked as senior consultant at Intervisie, Consultants in Management and Strategy. Since 1994 she has been a business partner at Phyleon.

Thyra is a coach of individual (senior) managers and leaders. She helps leaders to better understand themselves in their roles and interactions with individual employees, teams and organisations. Within leadership development, she designs and teaches in-company specific programs, providing a focus on executive leadership, personal and professional development and high performance teams.
In her role as a consultant and coach, Thyra has extensive experience with various national and multinational corporations, from such diverse sectors as Oil & Gas, Products & Services, Pharmaceuticals, Beverages, Finance, Law and Insurance. She is member of the Dutch Institute of Psychologists (N.I.P.) and of the International Society for the Psychoanalytic Study of Organisations (ISPSO).
