Moniek Vossenaar

Based in the Netherlands, Moniek Vossenaar is an experienced consultant and coach. She works for Phyleon, working in partnership Talking Talent. She studied theoretical mathematics (BA), followed by business administration at the Erasmus University in Rotterdam. Moniek then worked as a consultant 'change manager' for Accenture (the former Andersen Consulting) in The Hague and Chicago (USA), later going on to be a consultant for strategy and planning at the Royal Nedlloyd Group. She continued her career as a commercial and general manager in a mostly international environment at (P&O) Nedlloyd Europe, Randstad and SHL Europe.

Moniek has extensive experience in the field of business, team, and human development. She worked as change manager in several mergers and reorganisations and has built up extensive experience coaching female managers, who needed to find a new work-balance after becoming a mother for the first, second, or third time.

In addition to her professional career, Moniek completed studies in the area of management of ‘irrational and dysfunctional processes in organisations’, team roles and team communication, change management and system dynamics in organisations and various coaching techniques like the Enneagram and ‘Kernkwaliteiten’. She is also certified to use several psychometric tools.

On a personal note Moniek is a mother of two boys; she is able to combine motherhood and a full-time career thanks to efficient planning, great support at home and a flexible husband and children. Moniek is a great believer in creating a sensible work-life balance, emphasizing on ‘and–and’ solutions rather than ‘either-or’.
