Vicky Millar
Vicky spent 15 years as an HR professional in multinational blue chip companies, working in the IT and FMCG sectors. The last 7 years were as a HR Business Partner at Microsoft, driving people strategies and coaching senior leaders. She has gained extensive training and coaching experience throughout her corporate career.
Vicky has a passion for supporting women returning from maternity leave, and building on her own experiences (she has 2 young children). Prior to leaving Microsoft, she initiated, designed and implemented a “Return to Work” program involving manager education, workshops and 1:1 coaching. She then launched her own coaching company in 2008. She is a strong advocate for supporting individuals who are transitioning in this challenging period, and champions the benefits that coaching can bring to the both the individual and the organisation.
Vicky excels in an environment of open, honest collaboration which compliments her warm, empathetic, personable coaching style. Vicky has an underlying sense of fun, yet also has the maturity and insight to challenge the client in order to attain their stated goals.
Vicky has completed the internationally recognised Coach Inc. training program. She is a member of the International Coaching Federation and adheres to their ethics and guidelines. Vicky also has an MSc in Human Resource Management from the London School of Economics and is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
